In this case we have the same command but we have to navigate first to Volumes, then to the specific backup drive name (with those annoying spaces replaced with and space) and then to the user directory and then Library. Chflags nohidden /Volumes/Core i7 backup 2011 03 03/allison/LibraryTo be honest it might be easier to change the name of the volume not to have spaces than it is to type it this way!Or you could use quotes like this: chflags nohidden /Volumes/'Core i7 backup 2011 03 03'/allison/Library.

I just bought an new MacBook Pro (2018, running MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6) to replace my old MacMini (running High Sierra as well). To transfer my iTunes Library I have copied the whole iTunes Folder from the MacMini to a new SSD drive (Samsung Portable SSD T5 2TB, format APFS). Then I connect this SSD-drive to my new MacBook and I start iTunes with the option key and I choose the iTunes Folder. After this I get the following error notice (which I try to translate from German in Englisch):

The file 'iTunes Library.itl' cannot be read, because it was created by a newer version of iTunes. Update your MacOS to install the newest version of iTunes.

Well I can't update the MacOS on the MacBook (10.13.6 seems to be the newest Version of High Sierra).

For reference, the file that specifies where the factory library is installed was in this library for me: /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Battery 4/db3tracer.log I made a curious observation: Battery was looking for the factory library in the wrong location because the Volume name had changed. Then I replaced 'iTunes Library.itl' in the iTunes Folder by the latest version in the 'Previous iTunes Libraries' Folder. Then I could start iTunes on the new MacBook Pro perfectly. The problem is that I haved done many hours of work since this older version (a lot of imports and new playlists) and in such a way I loose all this changes ..
