Library Choices Not Showing Up In Mac Itunes
I have a playlist on my iPhone that contains songs that I have bought from iTunes and songs I have from elsewhere, and neither the playlist nor the songs that I have that are not purchased from iTunes appear in my library. The simplest thing I can think of is copying the playlist and pasting it into my library, but this does not work.

2020-3-26 Why is my iPhone 6 not showing up in This PC or in iTunes? I have a Windows 10 desktop computer and my iPhone 6 charges when it is plugged into my computer, but my iPhone 6 is not showing up in 'This PC' or in iTunes. Also the iCloud will not install on this computer either. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall iTunes with no success. 2013-11-11 However, i have an Synology DS 213+ nas with iTunes server installed on it. The problem is that in Win7 and OSX mavericks the server is not showing up in iTunes. The strange thing is that, in iTunes, i can see other iTunes library's (i have a win7 Sony laptop) and vice versa. So my hackintosh can also see the shared library's of other pc's. 2013-5-11 I recently got a new MacBook and along with it a newer operating system and newer version of iTunes. I had my iTunes Library in a folder on an external HD. I plugged the HD into the new computer, set my default music directory to where the music is, and nothing shows up. I selected the option. 2019-11-15 With macOS Catalina, your iTunes media library is now available in the Apple Music app, Apple TV app, Apple Books app, and Apple Podcasts app. And Finder is where you can manage and sync content on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. 2020-4-6 Some iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max users have discovered that iTunes does not recognize the new iPhone connected to a Mac. Instead, launching iTunes with iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro connected via USB cable does nothing, and the iPhone does not show up in iTunes, it does not sync, backup, or appear to exist at all within iTunes. Check iTunes Version. If you have recently bought an iPhone and connected to the old version of iTunes on our PC or Mac, your iPhone not showing in iTunes may be a problem you may experience. Every new iPhone will be having the old version of iTunes and will need to be upgraded to the new version of iTunes so that your iPhone can show up on.
This is a software i use to transfer music from my iphone to itunes. Songs that are from elsewhere will only be transferred through a third party software like the link below.

- Why is my music not showing up in the artist section of my iPhone? I just started adding music to my Iphone 5 and quite a bit of the music will not show up in the Artist section. After searching for it I can usually find what I was looking for in either the Album or Song section, but I find it kind of annoying to have to search so hard just for music. Any idea what's causing this?

Check these things first
Check your settings and network connection on all of your devices:
- Make sure that your devices have the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, or iTunes for Windows.
- Make sure that Sync Library is turned on for all of your devices.
- Connect all of your devices to the Internet.
- Visit the Apple System Status page to see if there are interruptions in service in your country or region.
Apple Music isn't a backup service. Make sure to back up your music library before you make any changes.
If you can't find or play a song
Library Choices Not Showing Up In Mac Itunes Free
If you can't find or play a song, check if you added it from Apple Music. If it came from another source, the song might be waiting to upload. Try these steps:
- Turn on your Mac or PC and connect it to the Internet.
- Open the Music app or iTunes for Windows.
- Keep the Music app or iTunes for Windows open so your library can finish uploading.
If you see an ineligible icon next to a song, delete the song, then add it back to your library. If you still see an ineligible icon next to a song, then that song can’t be uploaded.
If a song is grayed out, then the song might be waiting to upload, no longer available, or not yet released from the Apple Music catalog.
If a song is missing
Make sure that all of your devices have Sync Library turned on, and signed in with the same Apple ID.
If you’re still missing a song that you added from the Apple Music catalog, then the song might have been removed from Apple Music or is available under a different file name. Try searching Apple Music for the song, then add it to your library.
Turn Sync Library off, then turn it back on
You might be able to fix your issue by turning Sync Library off for all of your devices, then turning it back on again. Learn how.
